Out of bounds is left of hole 1 beyond white-painted power poles, right of hole 10 beyond the pipe boundary, and beyond broken white lines around clubhouse paths.
Exposed tree roots
Exposed roots on closely mown areas are abnormal course conditions with free relief.
Ornamental gardens
Ornamental gardens identified by a single white post provide free relief under Rule 16.1.
Roads, paths and wheel ruts
Free relief applies from surfaced and natural motor-vehicle roads and paths plus associated worn areas; defined wheel tracks and ruts are GUR.
Creek-crossing paths
Paths crossing creeks are part of the penalty area.
Large fallen limbs
An unmovable fallen tree limb that physically interferes with stance or intended swing is an abnormal course condition.
Unmarked mulch is integral
Woodchip and mulch areas without a white stake are integral parts of the course.
