Course Intelligence
Course Character
The operator describes it as a second-shot course: wide fairways offer room, but the angle into the green and the quality of iron play decide the score. The Eastern Golf Club’s current home is at Yering, after the club’s move from Doncaster. The venue offers 27 championship-standard holes plus the nine-hole Shark Waters par-three course. Major Risks
Green-complex angles Wide landing areas do not remove the need to approach from the correct side; choose the angle that leaves the simplest recovery. Private access The club is private, with normal access limited to members and Yering Gorge accommodation guests; visitors should enquire before planning a round.
