Protected stakes and trees
All stakes, staked trees and tree guards are immovable obstructions. Stakes must not be removed.
Sprinkler line-of-play relief
Line-of-play relief is available when both the ball and an intervening sprinkler are within two club-lengths of the putting green.
Course out of bounds
Out of bounds includes fenced boundaries, specified parts of Browns River, the car park, clubhouse surrounds, the internal boundary beside hole 11, and the cottage or workshop surrounds.
Wheel-rut relief
A ball lying in a wheel rut or tyre mark in the general area may receive relief when the condition unfairly affects play.
Irrigation equipment relief
All irrigation equipment in the general area is treated as an abnormal course condition.
Exposed tree-root relief
Relief is available when a ball on or near a closely mown area lies on an exposed root that affects the player's stance.
Stroke maximum score
Except in Honour Board events, stroke competitions use maximum hole scores of 8 on par 3s, 9 on par 4s and 10 on par 5s.
Working sprinkler relief
Free relief is available when a ball in the general area lies within the area being covered by a working sprinkler.
