Out of bounds
Out of bounds is defined by the club's boundary markers and includes the internal out-of-bounds areas identified on holes 4 and 7.
Hole 15 provisional ball
A provisional ball may be played under the club's stated procedure when it is not known or virtually certain whether the original ball is in the hole 15 penalty area.
Marked dropping zones
Where the club provides a marked dropping zone, it is an additional relief option for the condition identified by the local rule.
Alternative to stroke and distance
The club permits the Model Local Rule E-5 alternative for a ball lost outside a penalty area or out of bounds.
No-play zones
Raised garden beds and the identified path area on hole 15 are no-play zones.
Protected young trees
Young trees identified by the club are protected.
Hole 7 synthetic tee
The synthetic teeing surface on hole 7 is an abnormal course condition from which relief is required when the local rule applies.
Power lines and net wires
The local rule applies when a ball strikes the specified overhead power line or net wire on holes 3 or 5.
Named abnormal course conditions
The club treats its named roads, paths, edging grooves, drainage features, hoof damage and specified root or rock interference as abnormal course conditions.
