Local Rules

Ground-under-repair areas

Maintained gardens outside hazards, Cassidy's Road on holes 12-14, blue-grey bush rock outside hazards, tractor ruts and bunker washaways are ground under repair.

Out-of-bounds boundaries

Out of bounds is defined by perimeter fences on holes 1, 2, 3, 9, 10 and 11, plus the marked roads behind the 8th and 18th holes.

Penalty-area markings

Penalty areas are defined by red or yellow line marking and/or pegs.

Power lines and supporting poles

A ball striking a power line or supporting pole must be replayed without penalty.

Immovable obstructions

The listed switchboxes, pump house, distance markers, rest rooms, drainage grates, hazard pegs, sprinklers, cart-path ropes and posts are immovable obstructions. The red timber boards on hole 17 also provide free relief when they interfere with stance or swing.

Mandatory relief from staked trees

All staked trees are ground under repair and require a compulsory free drop.

Sprinkler head near putting green

Free relief is available when a fixed sprinkler head lies within two club-lengths of both the ball and the putting green and intervenes on play.

Regulations

Pace, course care and carts

Maximum pace is 2 hours 20 minutes per nine holes. Repair divots and pitch marks, rake bunkers, follow staff directions, drive carts carefully and keep them at least 10 metres from greens.

Dress regulations

Players must be neat and presentable; collared shirts and tailored shorts are preferred. Suitable footwear is mandatory, with soft-spike golf shoes strongly recommended.
