Local Rules

Out-of-bounds boundaries

Out of bounds includes all ground outside the course fences and the specified path boundaries behind the 1st tee, past the 18th and 9th greens toward the 7th tee, and left of the 14th fairway. Blue stakes identify out of bounds.

Red penalty areas and dropping zones

All penalty areas are red. The stormwater channel includes its brick and concrete work, bridges and dam wall. On holes 1, 16 and 17, the closest marked dropping zone is an additional one-penalty-stroke option.

Bunker abnormal course conditions

A bunker marked by a white stake or containing temporary water is treated as an abnormal course condition, with relief under Rule 16.1.

Wrong greens and practice greens

For wrong-green relief, the wrong green includes fairway within two club-lengths of its edge. The practice green between the 9th green and 7th tee and nursery green between the 5th green and 4th tee are wrong greens.

Aeration holes on putting greens

Rule 16.1 relief is available when a ball on a putting green lies in or touches an aeration hole.

Ornamental garden no-play zones

Free relief is mandatory from ornamental gardens left of the 6th tee, along the Pro Shop wall between the 6th and 18th greens, and between the 12th green and 10th tee.

Protected young trees

Trees protected by mesh or stakes are no-play zones.

Immovable obstructions and integral objects

Relief is available from the listed surfaced paths, taps, pipes, tee guards, fence-support piping, tee boxes, noticeboards, grates, drain covers and curbs. Retaining walls and pilings in penalty areas, objects attached to trees and boundary gates are integral objects with no free relief.

Course Intelligence

Course Character

Its short overall length does not remove the need for precise club selection and position. The official description highlights tight, tree-lined fairways and tricky greens guarded by bunkers. A compact, gently rolling Sydney parkland course built for accuracy and restraint.

Major Risks

Accuracy off the tee The club explicitly recommends accuracy and restraint over length; driver is not automatically the best play. Tree-lined corridors A missed fairway can make the next shot awkward, so favour a side that keeps the green visible.
