Local Rules

Internal out of bounds

White posts with black tops are boundary objects while playing holes 6, 11, 12, 13 and 18; for all other holes they are immovable obstructions.

White-and-green stake no-play zones

White stakes with green tops identify no-play zones, including garden beds, the practice fairway, staked trees and nurseries; complete free relief is mandatory.

Mandatory relief from marked GUR

Outside penalty areas, relief is mandatory from GUR encircled by white lines or white stakes.

Immovable obstructions

Stakes, tree guards, sheds, distance markers, watering equipment and fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions with free relief outside penalty areas.

Hole 5 power-line replay

If it is known or virtually certain that a ball hit a power line while playing hole 5, the stroke is cancelled and replayed without penalty.

Orange dropping stakes

When a ball is in white-lined GUR with an adjacent orange dropping stake, relief must be taken at the nearest dropping stake within one club-length.
